Established in 2007, the Centre for Professional Skills Development in Public Health (CPSD) provides practical skill-based training for relevant public health priorities and needs, and encourages solution-oriented thinking to address practical real world challenges.

The world’s evolving 21st century public health challenges demand continual technical, managerial and leadership skills in order to implement health projects, work cross-sectorally, build scientific knowledge, analyse and innovate locally relevant community solutions.

The School’s national and international training hub strengthens and upgrades the requisite professional skills analysed by practitioners, policymakers, development partners, government officials, public advocates, faculty, researchers and frontline health workers.
